Sliks Helmet Liner

With the hot weather helmets can get pretty nasty. The Sliks Helmet liner provides valuable solution at a very reasonable list price of $9.95.

The cotton liner is washable and durable. The liner is thin enough so that it does not make the helmet feel too tight. It helps protect the helmet from damaging sweat and oils and prevents that locker room smell.

I’ve worn them for years, they eliminate helmet itch, and my helmets stay in new condition for a long time.

Unbelievable Day in the Hills

Had a meeting in Capitola this morning so I rode down to get through some of the bad traffic areas on 880 and 17. After the meeting I rode up Hwy 9. I started to get that sinking feeling, because there were several areas of one lane traffic and road work.

Canon S80 on SportBikeCam Mount: Photo of Hwy 35 (Skyline) going North from HWY 9. I'll experiment with the zoom to narrow the field of view.

Once I got through Boulder Creek an unbelievable thing happened - there was not a single vehicle in front of me the entire way up to Hwy 35. I stopped at Four Corners for a few minutes and then decided to ride up to Skywood Trading Post for a sandwich. Again there was not one vehicle on the road in front of me.
