Hwy 35

Unbelievable Day in the Hills

Had a meeting in Capitola this morning so I rode down to get through some of the bad traffic areas on 880 and 17. After the meeting I rode up Hwy 9. I started to get that sinking feeling, because there were several areas of one lane traffic and road work.

Once I got through Boulder Creek an unbelievable thing happened - there was not a single vehicle in front of me the entire way up to Hwy 35. I stopped at Four Corners for a few minutes and then decided to ride up to Skywood Trading Post for a sandwich. Again there was not one vehicle on the road in front of me.

Norton Rider

This was photo was taken in 1992 on Skyline at four corners (HWY 35 & HWY 9). This was an awesome restoration of a 1974 Norton Commando completed by Mike (back when he had hair).

If you are going to ride a Norton you better have a tool kit.
