Big Valley Honda (BVH) in Reno, Nevada is an impressive dealership by any measure. They have one of the largest selections of Honda motorcycles, ATVs, scooters, and personal watercraft I've ever seen under a single roof.
Since I'm a Honda fan, whenever I'm in Reno I try to stop by BVH just to see what's new. I dropped in during the 2006 Street Vibrations event to see the place and shoot some photos, so I thought I'd share them with you.

Dream Rides crew at the 2007 Sacramento Easyriders show
We stopped in at their display booth at the 2007 Easyriders show in Sacramento in January, where the crew was promoting their dyno service - the day of the show, they were handing out coupons good for a free dyno run - if you missed the show, you missed out on the free dyno run!

This article on The New Atlantis website talks about the loss of craftsmanship, and what it means to work with your hands (as, for instance, when you build something, repair a motorcycle, etc.) and produce something tangible vs. the more typical, 'information economy' intangible stuff such as software.
Given the intrinsic richness of manual work, cognitively, socially, and in its broader psychic appeal, the question becomes why it has suffered such a devaluation in recent years as a component of education. The economic rationale so often offered, namely that manual work is somehow going to disappear, is questionable if not preposterous, so it is in the murky realm of culture that we must look to understand these things. To this end, perhaps we need to consider the origins of shop class, so that we can better understand its demise.

CRG - Constructors Racing Group Levers
I just received a set of controls from CRG - Constructors Racing Group for evaluation. The levers are the black models and standard length. I will be installing and testing these on my CBR954RR as soon as possible.
