The Canon S80 is the flagship of the Powershot line. It is a compact camera that has just about every feature one can think of and 8MP resolution. Even though this is a small point and shoot format camera the build quality and feel is top notch as you would expect from Canon.
The included software installs easily and works well. I especially like the PhotoStitch program that allows you create images from multiple photos. This program even works if you forget to use the Stitch Assist function of the camera. I have used this to create panoramic images for this web site.

It's nice to be able to capture photos and video on a ride. There are many different mounts available but I think the SportBikeCam is the most secure and is very easy to install and use.
Here are the rear, side and front views of a Canon G1 digital camera mounted on the optional camera riser kit. The camera is mounted using the tripod mount and then mounted to the tank mount with one knob.
Here's a JVC digital Camera mounted to the SportBikeCam mount. For this type of camera where the lens is high on the camera body the riser kit is not necessary. The riser positions the lens too high with this type of camera.
