What is more satisfying than riding a motorcycle? Riding one that really fits well.

Many riders choose custom seats, rear sets, custom bars, exhaust, and cosmetic modifications. People often miss out on a great customization opportunity - brake and clutch hand levers. While stock levers may offer an adequate range of adjustments, custom levers can provide a far greater range of adjustments, and provide a unique look for your ride.

We listed the CRG Roll-a-Click clutch and brake levers in our Christmas wish list - we hope some of you received these great gifts - for those of you who were not so lucky, read on - you just might decide to give yourself a late gift.

CRG sent us a set of full length black anodized levers for review. The levers are hard-anodized billet 6061-T6 aluminum, and are machined in-house at CRG's manufacturing facility. The fit and finish, materials, and machining are simply outstanding - the levers have a solid feel and are beautiful to look at.

We'll check out the CRG controls on a 2003 CBR954RR. The photos show the levers mounted on the 954RR.

I really like the look of the black levers on the red bike. For those with different tastes, the levers are also available in silver and gold.

It only took a couple of minutes to install the levers, and they fit perfectly.

I hope the detail shown in this close-up does justice to the quality and finish. The hard anodizing is great looking and should keep the levers looking new for a long time.

The levers have 1/2 inch of adjustment range so riders with small or large hands should have no problem finding a position that suits them. The red click adjuster is a nice finishing touch. The adjuster has a precise, quality feel to it, and has a choice of six positions.

The Roll-a-Click adjuster is very solid, stays in position, and can be adjusted on the fly.

I prefer the standard length levers; CRG also offer a "shorty" lever that is 1 1/4 inches shorter. They seem very popular as I have seen many bikes with the shorter variant installed.

Summary

The CRG levers offer great functionality and a beautiful custom look. I highly recommend these levers to anyone who is looking to upgrade their levers for a custom fit.
