Street Vibrations 2007
Reno, Nevada September 19 - 23
Street Vibrations this year: September 19 - 23. Weather looks like it may be a factor. Global warming seems to be causing unseasonably cold and wet weather.
The street scene usually includes more Harley-Davidson customs than you can count, and other customs as well as the usual sights and sounds.

Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca - A Look Back.
Laguna Seca has undergone many changes and safety updates since 1957. The infield was added in 1988 to extend the track from 9 turns to 11 turns and from 1.9 miles to the current length of 2.238 miles to meet FIM regulations.
I have been attending races at Laguna Seca Raceway since my father took me to the Can-Am race in 1973. I hope you enjoy the pictures I have selected for a look back at this wonderful racetrack.

The California Coastline from Carmel and Big Sur offers dramatic scenery and enjoyable riding. This section of Highway 1 defines micro climates. On my most recent ride the weather was a typical 60's temp and mostly clear. However the section from just north of Bixby Bridge to the Andrew Molera State Park was very windy. The wind was pushing the bike around and could be difficult conditions for a beginning rider. Always be prepared for changing weather and visibility.
Photo Tip: Fighting haze with a UV filter
Fog and haze often pose a challenge to photographers on the California Coastline. A UV (ultraviolet) filter cuts the UV rays that make this fog and haze visible and will cut the blue tint; making your photos look much better with more definition and contrast.
This photo was taken from the turnout just south of the entrance to Carmel HIghlands Inn with a Canon Powershot S80 digital camera.
