Eddie Rickenbacker's Motorcycle Collection
Eddie Rickenbacker's Bar is located at the corner of Minna and 2nd Street (South of Mission St) in the financial district of San Francisco. They serve excellent drinks, have a good selection of beers on tap and the food is above average for a bar.
The collection of vintage motorcycles is excellent with over 40 examples. There are many vintage Indians, Harley Davidsons as well as European motorcycles. The place is really like museum in a bar/restaurant. The combination of vintage motorcycles, war memorabilia, large model trains and Tiffany lamps is an odd but very interesting collection.
This Indian is one of my favorite motorcycles in the collection. I really like the styling and the rich color with the gold leaf lettering.
1930 Indian Chief
This 1930 Indian Chief really looks good in red.
1919 Triumph
This is the earliest Triumph's I've seen and it looks like it came through a time machine. It's hard to imagine a motorcycle this old looking like new.Henderson
I'm not sure of the year of this Henderson motorcycle. It is in excellent condition. The engine detail and the paint on this bike are awesome.Current Poll
