Lee Parks Design - DeerSport PCI Gloves Review

DeerSport™ PCI Gloves

When you pick up a pair of DeerSport™ gloves the quality is immediately obvious—these are no ordinary gloves.

The deerskin palms are soft and supple. The 4-seam design reduces failure points for the ultimate protection. The Outlast™ phase-changing liner material on the palm keeps heat in when it's cold and draws heat away when it's hot. The back of the glove is insulated with Thinsulate-Flex™ and retains heat without bulk. The knuckles have a double layer of elkskin for added abrasion protection. The gloves are stitched with two threads in every hole for added strength and won't cut the leather (preventing another cause of premature failure).

Ride Test

DeerSport PCI Gloves
DeerSport PCI Gloves
I conducted tests while riding sportbikes, standards and touring motorcycles. The DeerSport™ gloves are versatile, and look great no matter what you're riding.

The trimmed and ironed internal seams provide comfort and their lack of bulk improves comfort and dexterity for precise control of clutch, brake and throttle. The wrist strap is long enough to fit over any jacket and ensures the gloves stay on your hands. The extra-long gauntlet is adjustable to fit over small or large jacket sleeves, and I experienced no 'back draft' so my hands stayed warm at any speed.

Test riding in temperatures between 42°F and 75°F, the Outlast™ liner material performed as advertised. My hands were always comfortable.
The lack of seams prevents hot-spots or bunching.

The gloves do stretch as they break in so be sure to buy them on the snug side—Lee Parks helped me with fitting (I met Lee at a recent motorcycle show) and I appreciate his assistance, as the new gloves felt much tighter than gloves I have worn in the past. They are a perfect fit now that they are broken in.

Conclusion

If you are looking for top-quality gloves made in the USA you should check out the Lee Parks Design DeerSport™ gloves, offering unsurpassed comfort, quality, and style. The wide temperature comfort zone is perfect for all day riding when you don't want to carry extra gloves.

I bought a pair two years ago at the San Mateo International Motorcycle Show. Lee Parks is proud of there gloves as the price reflects, but they are worth every penny! I haven't crashed with them yet so don't know how they hold up on that end, but I can't say enough positive coments about them.

nice
