The Last Buell Motorcycle
Sadly, the last Buell motorcycle, an XB12Scg, rolled off the East Troy Wisconsin assembly line on October 30th.
Buell built 136,923 motorcycles in 26 years of operation. Buell motorcycles will continue to be sold through existing dealers until inventory is depleted.

R.I.P. Buell Motorcycles -- Harley-Davidson to shut down Buell, divest MV Agusta
Harley-Davidson announced the end of the Buell line.
This is not a huge surprise given Harley-Davidson's financial situation, although it is bad news for enthusiasts. The new Buell models, especially the Buell 1125R and 1125CR models were kick-ass bikes and certainly worthy of consideration by many sport bike enthusiasts.

It's a sad day in Wisconsin. Buell Motorcycle Company will discontinue production. Erik Buell founded Buell Motorcycle Company in 1983, it has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Harley-Davidson, Inc. since 1998. In 26 years more than 135,000 Buell motorcycles were produced. Buell motorcycles have won many awards for innovative design features. Buell also won the 2009 AMA Pro Daytona Sportbike Championship.

Turn 10 at Infineon Raceway is a fast turn. Little errors can turn into big crashes.
