I came across this site while searching for photos of front tire wear. I didn't find any photos I was interested in, but I did find some interesting BMW lore. Information on BMW wheel balancing, tire wear, what those 5 dimples on the BMW rims are for, etc.
According to the information on the site, the site owner, Duane Ausherman, started BMW of Marin in San Rafael, which he sold in 1975.

Travis Pastrana completed an awesome double back flip to win the Gold in the Moto X Best Trick competition. The other riders wowed the crowd with some incredible tricks but you just can't beat a prefectly executed double back flip.
Had a meeting in Capitola this morning so I rode down to get through some of the bad traffic areas on 880 and 17. After the meeting I rode up Hwy 9. I started to get that sinking feeling, because there were several areas of one lane traffic and road work.
Once I got through Boulder Creek an unbelievable thing happened - there was not a single vehicle in front of me the entire way up to Hwy 35. I stopped at Four Corners for a few minutes and then decided to ride up to Skywood Trading Post for a sandwich. Again there was not one vehicle on the road in front of me.Click here to continue...
Yesterday I rode from home to the Amador County fair, via Volcano and Fiddletown. I had a chance to throw the bike around a bit, as there are some nice road sections on that route.Click here to continue...
