Hot August Nights 2006
My wife and I decided to do an overnight trip up to Hot August Nights in Reno. I'd been to several Hot August Nights events in the past and wanted to see if it was as crazy as ever. And from what I could see, it was.

Once I got through Boulder Creek an unbelievable thing happened - there was not a single vehicle in front of me the entire way up to Hwy 35. I stopped at Four Corners for a few minutes and then decided to ride up to Skywood Trading Post for a sandwich. Again there was not one vehicle on the road in front of me.

I've added several hundred miles to my new Metzeler ROADTEC MEZ6 tires (mounted on the '98 Honda CBR1100XX).
Yesterday I rode from home to the Amador County fair, via Volcano and Fiddletown. I had a chance to throw the bike around a bit, as there are some nice road sections on that route.

The Viosport camera mounting kit has arrived (actually, it arrived last week, but I've been tied up with other things) - we'll check it out and include it in our forthcoming Viosport Adventure Cam 3 review.
